An important announcement for all International Students:
For those of you interested in applying to study at any school in Canada as an International student, you will most likely require an English Proficiency Test. We recommend taking the IELTS.
Why take the IELTS?
The International English Language Testing system (IELTS) is the most widely accepted and recommended standardized test by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This test is a general requirement for school acceptance, and English proficiency is also a component of your study permit application.
When should I take the IELTS?
We recommend that all students interested in studying abroad take the IELTS test as soon as possible. Test results are valid for up to two years so students should take the test even if they have not yet decided on a particular school. Students sometimes wait too late before taking the test and this has caused delays in obtaining their study permits. Test centres can often get be extremely busy, and depending on the country where you reside, test centres and test dates may be limited. For this reason, we encourage all students to apply to take the test as soon as possible. You can find more test information here.
What test score will I require to attend Max the Mutt?
We require an IELTS Test score of 6.5 or higher. You can also find more information about other requirements for international students here
