Program Overview
Illustration for Sequential Arts: Comic Books & Graphic Novels is a three year diploma program created by leading artists in the field, the only program of its kind in Canada!
Designed with input from leading Canadian artists in the field, our Illustration For Sequential Arts program has been structured to give students a broad skill base which will enable them to work in graphic design, advertising and publishing. They will have skills valued by the game industry, and the potential to gain employment in the comic book and graphic novel industries. Visual Arts Literacy” is the first year of the three-year Diploma Program.
Program Length
This is a three-year diploma, the first year of which is Visual Arts Literacy (VAL). For direct entry into year two or three, students may apply for advanced standing. Please contact our Admissions Department for advanced portfolio review requirements.
