CURRENCY
Unless otherwise indicated, all dollar amounts referred to in this agreement are in lawful money of Canada.
PRIVACY POLICIES (SEE SCHEDULE 1)
MTM has written privacy policies in accordance with privacy laws and is in compliance with such privacy policies. More specifically, MTM conforms to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) The Chief Privacy Officer of MTM is              Noelle Belgrave_________.
GOOD FAITH
The Student represents that they are entering into this Agreement in good faith and that they shall at all times abide by the policies and procedures of MTM.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement and any schedules referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between MTM and the Student and supersede all prior agreements, representations, warranties, statements, promises, information, arrangements, and understandings, whether oral or written, express or implied, with respect to the subject matter hereof. Furthermore, MTM shall not be bound or charged with any oral or written agreements, representations, warranties, statements, promises, information, arrangements and understandings not specifically set forth in this agreement, the schedules, or any related amendments.
UPDATES TO COLLEGE POLICIES
MTM reserves the right to, from time to time, make any changes or updates to MTM policies which it believes are required, including those attached in this Agreement (Professional Developments Application Form)
PROMOTIONAL USE OF STUDENT WORK AND PERSONALITY
The student hereby grants to MTM an unlimited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, and make derivative works of any image, artwork, video content, or other such content created by the student in the course of their studies at MTM, for the purposes of promoting and advertising MTM and it’s programs.
Additionally, the Student hereby grants to MTM an unlimited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use the Student’s’ name, image, likeness and voice as captured, photographed, or created in conjunction with the Student’s activities and students at MTM, for the purposes of promoting and advertising MTM and it’s programs.
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
The student hereby releases, indemnifies, and saves harmless MTM, including MTM’s instructors, and any of its staff, from any responsibility for the Student’s safety or property during any MTM field trips or outings off campus. The Student agrees to take full responsibility for their transportation to and from the field trip site. The Student agrees to respect the property of the field trip host and abide by the rules and regulations of the host.
The Student further releases, indemnifies and saves harmless MTM, its instructors and any of its staff, with respect to any loss or injury resulting to the Student or to the Student’s personal property while the Student is on the premises of MTM — Where the Student has not followed MTM’s policies and procedures or has disregarded his/her own safety.
MUTUAL RESPECT
As MTM is a small, close-knit environment, it is essential that everyone treat all other members of MTM community with respect and courtesy at all times.
This means obvious things like being polite to instructors, staff and other students at all times.
It also means being mindful of others around you and ensuring that they do not feel excluded. Avoid behaviour which risks excluding your classmates, such as forming cliques, disparaging other students behind their backs, spreading rumors, and having conversations in which other students cannot participate.
DRESS CODE
Students are expected to dress appropriately for the studio environment.
Clothing should cover both the midriff and shoulders (no tank-tops, muscle shirts, tube tops, etc.); shorts and skirts should not rise far above the knee; shoes must be worn at all times; wearing pajamas and active wear is not permitted; caps should be removed while in the classroom.
FOOD AND DRINKS
No food is permitted inside MTM classrooms. No drinks aside from bottled water are allowed.
The Student Lounge has a fridge, microwave, and vending machines for your use. Please clean the microwave after use, and ensure you take everything home from the fridge at the end of the day. MTM is not responsible for items left in the fridge.
Please be aware that some of students may have severe allergies to some foodstuff. MTM may from time to time request that students not bring food containing ingredients which could trigger a potential allergic reaction in other staff or students.
HEALTH, SAFETY, AND SECURITY
The health and safety of everyone on campus is of paramount importance to MTM.
Do not prop open doors and do not open doors for people you do not recognize. Do not share the student access code with anyone. Refer anyone asking for access to the campus office.
Please clean up spills as soon as they happen. If you require assistance to do so, please ask.
If you notice something unsafe or suspicious activity, please report it immediately to the office.
If you have an allergy or other health concern, please let the office know so that we can make accommodations or emergency plans as necessary.
COMPUTER AND INTERNET USAGE
When using school computers or you own device to access the internet on campus please follow these guidelines:
Network activity at MTM is monitored and violations of this policy may result in loss of network privileges and other disciplinary measures.
Please report any violations of this policy to the office.
Smoking, Drugs and Alcohol
There is to be no smoking, consumption of alcohol, or use of illicit drugs on MTM property.
Students who are found to be under the influences of illicit drugs or alcohol will be subject to disciplinary action.
Violations of Policy
Violations of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action. MTM has full discretion to determine the appropriate disciplinary action for any violation.
