The four-year diploma program is centered around industry standard methodology for video game and animation pre-production art. The program is focused on maximizing the employability of the students and helping them create a portfolio that excels within the industry.

The program puts a heavy emphasis on art fundamentals and connecting those concepts to video game art design. Students, under the supervision and guidance of industry professionals, will learn all aspects of character design, environment design, creature design, matte painting and more. Students will connect traditional art to digital art, learning all mechanisms and tools for contemporary digital painting and 3D software. With a focus on industry standard methodology for video game art design, students will have their individual art styles elevated to another level.

  • The fundamentals of art with respect to anatomy, figure drawing, lights and shadows, color theory and composition
    Traditional painting with respect to digital application of learnt principles
  • All fundamental tools for concept art industry software usage
