Brandon Miller is from Milton, Ontario Canada. How he ended up in Toronto for art school has been a crazy journey. Brandon originally wanted to get into cooking, but after working in the industry for a few years, he realized he would never will be passionate about it.
Brandon was always considered “the art dude” in high school, because he loved drawing and painting. So he decided to go to Sheridan for art fundamentals. Whole there he was always into the illustration and storytelling side of art like creatures, settings and characters. he said that he learned a lot, but felt his skills were lacking and his direction was unguided.
So, because of his passion for storytelling Brandon decided to go into Concept art. He’s been loving his time at Max the Mutt and chose this school because of its understanding of fundamentals, the traditional art focus and amazing teachers.Their Concept Art for Animation & Video Games program is up to date and always evolving. Concept art is interesting because it is constantly changing. Keeping up with the technology, and also the psychology is very interesting.
Brandon hopes to keep learning and never stop, and as he improves so will his ideas. After school, he plans to keep learning and growing. He sees himself working in the gaming industry, or in children’s animation. Games and cartoons have always made Brandon happy. So he would like to one day pass on that same happiness. Oh, and he said, ” I’ll always keep drawing cats!”
