Bio

Robyn Somers has this to say about what inspired her to study Illustration and why she chose to attend Max the Mutt:

“I’m from Toronto and I’ve been interested in art my whole life. Ever since I was a kid I’ve been drawing. This artistic streak, along with a passion for storytelling, led me to choose the illustration program at Max the Mutt. I’m very glad to have such talented instructors at this school. It’s clear they care a lot about giving us the best possible education.

After graduating, I hope to be able to become a freelance illustrator. I’d love to make digital artwork to promote local bands, businesses, and the like. I trust that the education I receive here at Max the Mutt will help me achieve this goal.”
