Vaishnavi Pawar is from the western part of India. Vaishnavi has this to say about what inspired her to study Concept Art and why she chose to attend Max the Mutt:
“I always used to draw and colour in books as a child. Opening up new pencils or paints and starting to paint felt so amazing. There was something very special about that moment when you have an idea and it starts to come to life on a paper.
As years passed, I realised my career path would surely be around this field or anything related to drawing and painting. Needless to say, I pursued my Diploma in Visual Communication.
After completing my Diploma, I joined a VFX Studio as a Junior Matte Painter, where I worked for two years. Working with such a studio gave me firsthand experience in creating different backgrounds for Indian television and web series. Being a fully committed artist I have neither lacked creativity, nor the fundamentals of art. However in all those years of degree and practise I realised, I have just learned to visualise and create different backgrounds and as an Artist I feel incomplete without knowing the actual graphic pipeline in Concept Art. So, I chose Max the Mutt to study Concept Art after viewing the course structure provided on the website. As the curriculum and facilities suit my interests and requirements.
On the technical front, new Concept Artists these days are expected not only to understand art fundamentals such as lighting, colour, perspective, etc. but also understand how to use 3D software packages and photo manipulation to diversify the workflow. Being a student at Max the Mutt not only enhances my career opportunities, but also help me realise my maximum potential.
My goal is to improve my skills further and regularly evolving as my aspirations continue to grow. Someday I would like to try seeking a job at some leading companies with a positive and encouraging work environment.”
