ONLINE! Creating Webcomics 2

Arts Workshop

Workshop Details

Creating Webcomics 2 expands on concepts introduced during Creating a Webcomic From Start to Finish. Any comic ideas you’ve already begun to develop, Instructor, Carla Ventresca will work directly with students to establish the story’s premise and theme, the cast of characters, and the world this story takes place in.

Students will learn how to develop scripts with the option for both long form comics and short form. Scripting will play a significant role from which rough layouts will be developed. Once these foundations are established, students will design panels and pages to visually express these stories to best suit each comic’s theme. Towards the end of this workshop, students will explore options for finished artwork such as linework and brush art technique, color, and lettering. The goal of our workshop is to have finished pages of your comic.

Ages: 13+
