Have you ever wished you could turn your artwork into products that people can own and wear and show off around the house?

 

Maybe your designs would look great on a shirt, coffee cups, or even beach towels! In this class we’ll explore what it takes to build a product line out of your own unique style of art. We’ll discuss branding and target audience, creating designs, developing products, and all the way to choosing a shopping platform and setting up your store. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a line of products ready to sell to the people who love your art!

Materials

Please note materials are not included in the cost of this workshop. This workshop requires Internet Access and will take place via Google Meetings/Hangouts. Sessions will be recorded and shared with students.

  • Samples of your current artwork and/or concepts that you have started
  • Access to a computer with digital art software such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, or a number of any other programs
    • You should already be familiar with navigating the interface of the program you will be utilizing.

About the Instructor

Learn how to make a webcomic series with instructor Carla Ventresca! Join Max the Mutt's creating a webcomic series online workshop from start to finish on Saturdays!CARLA VENTRESCA is a syndicated comic strip cartoonist with over 20 years in the industry. Her comic strip “On a Claire Day” which she co-created with her husband was published in newspapers in the U.S. and in Canada. She was also one of the six women cartoonists for the comic “Six Chix” published in newspapers internationally. Carla also did cartoons for magazines Readers Digest and Parade Magazine and is a greeting card artist and writer with American Greetings/Carlton Cards. She’s been an artist all her life and can’t imagine doing anything else! She loves to share her passion for creating comics with her students and support them in pursuing their art. Carla is originally from the Philadelphia area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
