BLENDER is an Open Source Software that provides a gateway experience to 3D animation, rigging, modeling, and more! In this 3-week Camp, students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of using Blender by learning the user interface, how to create 3D objects, how to model your own shapes, shading, lighting, basic animation and rendering.
You will receive a total of 27 hours of instruction and feedback for this extremely versatile animation software.

This workshop requires Internet Access and will take place via Google Meetings/Hangouts. Sessions will be recorded and shared with students.

About the Instructor
JUAN SANDRINO is a 2D/3D animation and film production student here at Max the Mutt and is eager to share his 7 years of experience with Blender. He enjoys working with various animation software as well as traditional hand-drawn animation. Having a background in teaching, Juan has worked with many younger audiences of various cultural backgrounds and nationalities through programs like the Raffles World Academy where he has taught Stop Motion Animation and provided an Introduction to Video Game Development back in 2017. Juan has studied internationally from the United Arab Emirates to France and Canada and is fluent in other 3D animation/coding software like Maya and Python.
