Intended for ages 8+, this workshop encourages collaboration for those with shared living arrangements to create your own redesign of fantastical characters from familiar stories retold by you!

Redesigning Fairy Tales is a character design workshop which serves as an accessible introduction to Concept Art! This introduction gives students the opportunity to choose from pre-existing stories (Fairy Tales) as a base for developing redesigns. Students will be encouraged to develop inspiration boards, establish themes, genres and conceptualize those influences into their redesigns.

Learn to create thumbnail silhouettes, establish theme and genre, gain an appreciation for research and reference material before combining with storytelling elements to finalize and present your completed work!
